VST & Company is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of MFSB and Bee Gees. Those roots explain a lot about how VST & Company arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Parokya Ni Edgar, Eraserheads, Sugarfree, Gloc-9 and Yeng Constantino, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Zack Tabudlo and Billy Crawford, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 11 connections around VST & Company, reaching back through MFSB and forward to Zack Tabudlo. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
