Judge is a Hardcore punk act. Their sound grew out of 7 Seconds, Youth of Today, Nothing,Nowhere, Blitz and Death Before Dishonor. Those roots explain a lot about how Judge arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Earth Crisis, Warzone, Integrity, Strife and Trapped Under Ice, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Rival Schools, Knocked Loose, Unbroken, Know Your Enemy and Earth Crisis, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 26 connections around Judge, reaching back through 7 Seconds and forward to Rival Schools.
