Warzone is a Hardcore punk act. Their sound grew out of The Business, Murphy's Law and Ray Cappo. Those roots explain a lot about how Warzone arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Rampage, Earth Crisis, Integrity and Straight Ahead, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Prong, Kill Your Idols, Judge, Scott Vogel and Murphy's Law, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 12 connections around Warzone, reaching back through The Business and forward to Prong. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
