Leiva is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Enrique Bunbury and Joaquín Sabina. Those roots explain a lot about how Leiva arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Pereza, Sidecars, El Canto del Loco, Extremoduro and Quique González, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Altogether the chart holds 19 connections around Leiva, reaching back through Enrique Bunbury. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
