They run in the same orbit as Jacob Miller, Mikey Dread, Hugh Mundell, Wailing Souls and Dennis Brown, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Eek-A-Mouse, Scientist, Freddie McGregor, The Viceroys and King Tubby, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation.
