Lisa Gerrard is a World music act. Their sound grew out of Toward the Within. Those roots explain a lot about how Lisa Gerrard arrange songs and choose their tones. Their influence carried into Denez Prigent, Laurel Halo and Autumn's Grey Solace, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation.
