◇ image via WikipediaNettspend
Nettspend is a Trap act. Their sound grew out of Lyrical Lemonade, Michael Jackson, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Chief Keef. Those roots explain a lot about how Nettspend arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as OsamaSon, bleood, Nine Vicious, Maxon and Destroy Lonely, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into PinkPantheress, Tommy Richman, Deftones and OsamaSon, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 23 connections around Nettspend, reaching back through Lyrical Lemonade and forward to PinkPantheress.
