Rico Nasty

Trap
Trap

Rico Nasty is a Trap act. Their sound grew out of Sega Bodega, David Bowie, Avril Lavigne, Rihanna and Tyler, The Creator. Those roots explain a lot about how Rico Nasty arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Megan Thee Stallion, Flo Milli, TiaCorine, bbymutha and JT, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Flo Milli and ppcocaine, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 39 connections around Rico Nasty, reaching back through Sega Bodega and forward to Flo Milli. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
