Tay-K is a Trap act. Their sound grew out of BlocBoy JB, Young Pappy, Chief Keef, Eazy-E and Soulja Boy. Those roots explain a lot about how Tay-K arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Young Nudy, Famous Dex, Shoreline Mafia, King Von and Duwap Kaine, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Young Nudy, BlocBoy JB, Tyga, Lil Yachty and YBN Nahmir, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 31 connections around Tay-K, reaching back through BlocBoy JB and forward to Young Nudy.
