Tayc

Afrobeat
Afrobeat

Tayc is a Afrobeat act. Their sound grew out of Singuila, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Ne-Yo and Joe. Those roots explain a lot about how Tayc arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Aya Nakamura, Nej, Zaho, Jul and CKay, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Altogether the chart holds 17 connections around Tayc, reaching back through Singuila. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
