◇ image via WikipediaThe Cab
The Cab is a Emo act. Their sound grew out of Maroon 5, Marianas Trench, Parachute, Ryan Ross and Plain White T's. Those roots explain a lot about how The Cab arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Every Avenue, Cobra Starship, Anarbor, The Academy Is... and Fall Out Boy, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Ewelina Lisowska, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 39 connections around The Cab, reaching back through Maroon 5 and forward to Ewelina Lisowska.
