The Audition

The Audition is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of The Academy Is... and We the Kings. Those roots explain a lot about how The Audition arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Just Surrender, Cute Is What We Aim For, This Providence, Hit the Lights and The Academy Is..., sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Amber Pacific and Emanuel, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 25 connections around The Audition, reaching back through The Academy Is... and forward to Amber Pacific. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
