Black metal

Twilight is a Black metal act. Their sound grew out of The Funeral of Being, Xasthur, Leviathan, Nachtmystium and Sonic Youth. They run in the same orbit as Blut Aus Nord, Paysage D'Hiver, Forgotten Tomb, Nargaroth and Sargeist, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Altogether the chart holds 19 connections around Twilight, reaching back through The Funeral of Being.
