Tyler Carter

Tyler Carter is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Tilian, Blackbear and Teddy Swims. Those roots explain a lot about how Tyler Carter arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Jonny Craig, Hellogoodbye, A Rocket to the Moon, Gallant and Allstar Weekend, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Riley, Blackbear, MAX, Breathe Carolina and Hands Like Houses, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 30 connections around Tyler Carter, reaching back through Tilian and forward to Riley.
