Urthboy

Urthboy is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Hermitude, The Roots and Daniel Merriweather. Those roots explain a lot about how Urthboy arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Thundamentals, 360, Seth Sentry, Bliss n Eso and Hilltop Hoods, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Hermitude, Dan Sultan and Brother Ali, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 22 connections around Urthboy, reaching back through Hermitude and forward to Hermitude. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
