Jebediah

Jebediah is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Smashing Pumpkins, Beastie Boys and Foo Fighters. Those roots explain a lot about how Jebediah arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Grinspoon, Regurgitator, You Am I, The Superjesus and Powderfinger, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Gyroscope, End of Fashion, The Living End, The Get Up Kids and Bleed American, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 47 connections around Jebediah, reaching back through Nirvana and forward to Gyroscope. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
