Viejas Locas

Viejas Locas is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Los Piojos. Those roots explain a lot about how Viejas Locas arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Patricio Rey y sus Redonditos de Ricota, Divididos, Sumo, Andrés Calamaro and Las Pelotas, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Callejeros, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 26 connections around Viejas Locas, reaching back through Los Piojos and forward to Callejeros.
