Wisin is a Reggaeton act. Their sound grew out of Eddie Ávila, Kevin Roldán, A Quien Quiera Escuchar, Alexis & Fido and Eddie Dee. Those roots explain a lot about how Wisin arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Alexis y Fido, Maluma, Wisin y Yandel, Nio Garcia and Tony Dize, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Duele El Corazon, Alexis y Fido, Jory Boy, Play-N-Skillz and Nicky Jam, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 41 connections around Wisin, reaching back through Eddie Ávila and forward to Duele El Corazon.
