Luny Tunes is a Reggaeton act. Their sound grew out of Wisin & Yandel, Notch, DJ Nelson, Ivy Queen and Héctor & Tito. Those roots explain a lot about how Luny Tunes arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Tony Dize, Alexis y Fido, Trebol Clan, Tego Calderón and Baby Rasta y Gringo, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Erre XI, Dyland & Lenny, Farruko, Jowell & Randy and Alexis & Fido, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 49 connections around Luny Tunes, reaching back through Wisin & Yandel and forward to Erre XI.
