Rusko is a Dubstep act. Their sound grew out of Amber Coffman, Lutan Fyah, 12th Planet, Subtronics and Datsik. Those roots explain a lot about how Rusko arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Skream, Doctor P, Benga, Borgore and Ganja White Night, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Flux Pavilion and Zomboy, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 22 connections around Rusko, reaching back through Amber Coffman and forward to Flux Pavilion.
