Aly & AJ is an American pop rock duo consisting of sisters Alyson "Aly" Michalka and Amanda Joy "AJ" Michalka from Torrance, California. The show ran from November 28, 2009, to July 25, 2013. The pilot episode featured the group's first promotional single, "Big Time Rush". The group has released four studio albums: BTR in 2010, Elevate in 2011, 24/Seven in 2013, and Another Life in 2023. The band went on hiatus in 2014, which lasted until 2021 when the group resumed live performances and released the single "Call It Like I See It".

The Wanted are a British-Irish boy band formed in 2009, and originally consisted of members Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker, and Nathan Sykes. The group signed a worldwide contract to Universal Music, Island Records and Mercury Records, and was managed by Scooter Braun.

She is also well known for her role as Tess Tyler in the Disney Channel television films Camp Rock and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. She has also had guest starring roles in House and Jessie, and played the recurring role of Julie #2 in Awkward. Martin also starred as Jo Mitchell in Mean Girls 2. Martin is also known for voicing Naminé in the video game series Kingdom Hearts and Jessica in Until Dawn. In 2019, Martin made her professional London stage debut in The Actor's Nightmare at the Park Theatre in London.
