El Gran Silencio is a rock en español band from Monterrey, Mexico. It blends a variety of rock, reggae, dancehall, and hip-hop influences with traditional Latin American musical forms such as cumbia, vallenato and Norteño. Their lyrics tend to be bohemian and often talk about life in the “barrio” or poor neighborhoods of Mexican cities, especially Monterrey. Gabriela Alejandra Guzmán Pinal is a Mexican pop and rock singer. With more than 30 million records sold throughout her career, winner of a Latin Grammy Award, and nicknamed "La Reina de Corazones" and "La Reina del Rock", she is one of the most successful Mexican female singers. She is also daughter of actress Silvia Pinal and singer Enrique Guzmán.

Jesse & Joy is a Mexican pop duo formed in 2005 by brother and sister Jesse and Joy, in Mexico City. La Quinta Estación is a Spanish pop rock band composed of two musicians from Madrid: Natalia Jiménez and Ángel Reyero (guitar). Pablo Domínguez was the third member until his split in 2008. Sven Martín was the fourth member until his departure in 2003. The band originated in Madrid with six members but the remaining four relocated to Mexico in 2001 after signing with Ariola and began recording their debut album Primera toma which was released in 2002.

María José Loyola Anaya, known professionally as María José, is a Mexican singer, ballerina, flamenco dancer, athlete and television personality. Her career started at age 15, in the 1990s, when she joined the Mexican band Kabah as a vocalist. After leaving the band in 2006, she continued on as a solo artist and has released six studio albums to date.

Álex Ubago is a Spanish musician. He is especially known for his heartfelt voice and his ballads. He was able to record his debut album ¿Qué pides tú? when manager Iñigo Argomaniz that used to go to Alex's cousin's bar heard a demo that Alex made for his girlfriend. His first album contains songs from that first demo recording; the songs are "Sabes" and "Hay Que Ver". Alex started to tour national radios with his guitar to sing his songs live and get further exposure. Eventually, this strategy worked, and his album finally hit the charts. But he reached absolute fame with the publication of the song "Sin Miedo A Nada", featuring Amaia Montero, which is his biggest hit to date.

El Poder del Norte is a Mexican norteño band which was formed in 1987 in Monterrey Nuevo León. It was formed by brothers Arturo Buenrostro, the accordionist, and Martin Buenrostro, the drummer. Both write songs for the group. They were originally known as Los Pioneros del Norte. They use an electronic drum for their cumbias.

Ely Guerra is a Mexican singer-songwriter who was raised in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. The daughter of Alberto Guerra and Gloria Vázquez, Guerra lived the first years of her life in Monterrey, where she was born, before moving to San Luis Potosí and then to Guadalajara, due to her father's work. It was in Guadalajara that she first discovered her passion for music. She has a mezzo-soprano voice.
