The pair first garnered attention in 2013 with the release of a Passion Pit bootleg remix. Their biggest hit, "High", reached 5 on the ARIA Singles Chart, achieved a triple platinum certification, and won the ARIA Award for Best Dance Release at the ARIA Music Awards of 2014. Gang of Youths are an Australian alternative rock band from Sydney, New South Wales, which formed in 2012. The band was founded by chief songwriter and lead vocalist David Le'aupepe; he has been joined by Jung Kim on guitar and keyboards since the band's inception, as well as Donnie Borzestowski on drums since 2014 and Tom Hobden on violin, rhythm guitar and keyboards since 2020. The band's debut studio album The Positions (2015) received multiple ARIA Award nominations and peaked at number five on the Australian albums chart. It provided the single "Magnolia", which has been described as their breakthrough hit and was certified platinum in 2018.

Spacey Jane are an Australian indie rock band formed in Fremantle, Western Australia in 2016. The group consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Caleb Harper, lead guitarist Ashton Hardman-Le Cornu, drummer Kieran Lama, and bassist Peppa Lane, who replaced Amelia Murray in 2019.

Marco Niemerski, known professionally as Tensnake, is a German DJ and producer from Hamburg best known for his 2010 track "Coma Cat", which appeared on at least 15 compilations that year.

Regurgitator are an Australian alternative rock band from Brisbane, Queensland, formed in late 1993 by Quan Yeomans on lead vocals, guitar and keyboards; Ben Ely on bass guitar, keyboards and vocals; and Martin Lee on drums. Their debut studio album, Tu-Plang was released in May 1996; it was followed by Unit in November 1997 which was certified triple platinum. Unit won five categories at the ARIA Music Awards of 1998: Album of the Year, Best Alternative Album, Producer of the Year, Engineer of the Year (Magoo) and Best Cover Art. Their third album, ...Art was released in August 1999.
