Lee Chae-rin, better known by her stage name CL, is a South Korean rapper, singer, and songwriter. Born in Seoul, South Korea, she spent much of her early life in Japan and France. She rose to fame as a member and leader of the girl group 2NE1, which debuted in 2009 under YG Entertainment. 2NE1 became one of the most popular South Korean girl groups worldwide and one of the best-selling girl groups. CL made her solo debut with the single "The Baddest Female" in May 2013; she released the solo track "MTBD" in February 2014 as part of Crush, 2NE1's final studio album.

Blaque is an American girl group; they had songs chart from 1999 to 2004. Outside of the United States and Canada, they are known as Blaque Ivory. Their self-titled debut album Blaque sold more than 1 million copies and was certified Platinum. The group's debut included the platinum-selling lead single "808"; a second single, "I Do"; and the international pop hit "Bring It All to Me". In 1999, Billboard named Blaque the 4th Best New Artist of the year, with "Bring It All to Me" landing at number 30 on the 2000 Year End Chart. In 2002 and 2003, the group released three less successful singles, "Can't Get It Back", "Ugly", and "I'm Good", the latter appearing in the film Honey.

Reminisce Kioni Smith, known professionally as Remy Ma, is an American rapper. Discovered by the late rapper Big Pun, she came to prominence for her work as a member of Fat Joe's group, Terror Squad. Dangerously in Love is the debut solo studio album by the American singer and songwriter Beyoncé. It was released on June 20, 2003, by Columbia Records and Music World Entertainment.
