Sharon Katharine Van Etten is an American singer-songwriter, musician and actress. Originally from New Jersey, and currently based in Los Angeles, Van Etten's music is noted for its indie rock aesthetic and personal lyrical content. In the studio and during live performances, Van Etten is currently accompanied by her backing band, the Attachment Theory, which consists of Devra Hoff, Teeny Lieberson and Jorge Balbi (drums).

Honeyglaze are an indie rock trio from South London formed by Anouska Sokolow with Tim Curtis and Yuri Shibuichi. They released a self-titled LP in 2022 followed by the album Real Deal in 2024.

The Gutter Twins was a musical collaboration between rock musicians Greg Dulli and Mark Lanegan. Dulli and Lanegan had regularly contributed to each other's projects since 2000, most notably in Dulli's Twilight Singers; of the duo's origins, Dulli said "I think Mark told a journalist we were doing it, and then the journalist called me, and I didn't know we were doing it." On Christmas Day 2003, Dulli and Lanegan began work on the collaboration. Their name is a punning homage to the Glimmer Twins, the pseudonym used by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards for work producing recordings by the Rolling Stones.

The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We is the seventh studio album by American singer-songwriter Mitski, released on September 15, 2023, through Dead Oceans. Produced by Patrick Hyland, it was recorded at the Bomb Shelter studio in Nashville and Sunset Sound in Los Angeles. The album was promoted by the release of the singles "Bug Like an Angel", "Star", "Heaven" and "My Love Mine All Mine" through July to October 2023, the last being Mitski's most successful song to date. An Americana, country, folk, and orchestral pop record, The Land Is Inhospitable was received with universal praise by critics, who focused on the emotional rawness of Mitski's lyrics as well as the stripped-down nature of the music.

Water from Your Eyes are an American experimental rock band formed in Chicago, Illinois in 2016, later relocating to Brooklyn, New York. Their music has been variously described as electro pop, alternative pop, art rock, and indie pop. The group is composed of vocalist Rachel Brown and producer and multi-instrumentalist Nate Amos, and joined in live performances by guitarist/bassist Al Nardo and drummer Bailey Wollowitz, both members of fantasy of a broken heart.
