John Vincent Orlando is a Canadian singer-songwriter, and actor. He first received attention on social media by posting covers of pop songs by artists such as Austin Mahone, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Shawn Mendes to his YouTube channel. In 2019, Orlando was nominated for the Juno Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year. He has also won an MTV Europe Music Award for Best Canadian Act four times in 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Daniel James Seavey is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer. He first gained national attention as a contestant on the fourteenth season of American Idol in 2015, where he placed in the Top 9. He later rose to prominence as a founding member of the boy band Why Don't We. The band released five extended plays and two albums, both of which reached the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart, before going on hiatus in 2022.

Jordan Adebowale Adetunji is an English-Northern Irish rapper and singer. He gained recognition in 2024 with his breakout global hit "Kehlani". In 2023, Adetunji was scouted by Oli Sykes and signed to RCA Records. In 2024, following the rise in popularity of "Kehlani", Adetunji signed with 300 Entertainment and Warner Records UK.

1000 Forms of Fear is the sixth studio album by Australian singer Sia. It was released on 4 July 2014 by Monkey Puzzle and RCA Records worldwide, and Inertia Records in Australia. Primarily an electropop album, the record also incorporates influences from reggae and hip hop. Lyrically, the record is focused on Sia struggling to deal with drug addiction and a misdiagnosis of bipolar disorder at the time, later rediagnosed as complex PTSD in 2019.

Written and produced by Grande, Ilya Salmanzadeh, and Max Martin, it is a pop, alt-pop, R&B, synth-pop, and downtempo song with trap elements.
