Nigerian singer and songwriter Ayra Starr has recorded material for two studio albums and one extended play, and has been featured on songs by other artists. After uploading covers and original compositions to Instagram, she was discovered by Mavin Records founder Don Jazzy, who signed her to the label in 2019 following a direct message exchange. She spent over a year in artist development before releasing her self-titled debut EP Ayra Starr on 22 January 2021. The five-track record merges elements of R&B and neo-soul with Afropop percussive rhythms, addressing themes of romance, heartbreak, and empowerment from a teenage perspective. Starr co-wrote four of the five songs with her brother Oluwadamilare Aderibigbe, while working primarily with producers Louddaaa, Dayogrey, and Don Jazzy. The EP spawned the single "Away", which spent two consecutive weeks at number four on Nigeria's TurnTable Top 50 chart and peaked at number 17 on the Billboard Top Triller Global chart.

Snoh Sheri Nowrozi, better known by her stage name Snoh Aalegra, is a Swedish R&B singer. Her debut album, Feels, was released in 2017, followed by Ugh, Those Feels Again in 2019.

Daniel Pemberton is an English composer and songwriter. Primarily working in film, television, and video games, he is best known for composing the scores for the films Project Hail Mary and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse as well as its sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the latter of which earned him a number of award nominations, including at the Golden Globes and the Critics' Choice Awards. He has received recognition for his work in films such as Steve Jobs, Motherless Brooklyn, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Being the Ricardos, The Rescue, Enola Holmes and its sequel Enola Holmes 2, as well as the first two entries in the LittleBigPlanet series of games and The Bad Guys film franchise (2022–present). For The Trial of the Chicago 7, Pemberton was nominated for the Ivor Novello Award for Best Original Film Score as well as an Academy Award for Best Original Song alongside Celeste for the song "Hear My Voice".

Abby-Lynn Keen, known professionally as Absolutely, and also known as àB or Abby Keen, is a British singer-songwriter. Her debut album, Cerebrum, was released on 17 November 2023, followed by her second album, Paracosm, on 20 February 2026. Her music blends R&B, pop, and EDM, and she is currently signed to Epic Records. Keen is also known for her songwriting contributions to Jesy Nelson, Teddy Swims and Giveon, as well as various projects by Normani, Anitta, and Leigh-Anne.
