Carnage is a Death metal act. Their sound grew out of Timmy Trumpet, Pia Mia, G-Eazy and Atmozfears. Those roots explain a lot about how Carnage arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Dismember, Unleashed, Cenotaph, Cancer and Malevolent Creation, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Carcass, Arch Enemy and Dismember, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 21 connections around Carnage, reaching back through Timmy Trumpet and forward to Carcass.
