Flex is a Reggaeton act. Their sound grew out of Luny Tunes. Those roots explain a lot about how Flex arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Eddy Lover, Nigga, Tony Dize, Luny Tunes and Alexis y Fido, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Alexis & Fido, Luis Fonsi, Makano, Sech and El Chombo, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 36 connections around Flex, reaching back through Luny Tunes and forward to Alexis & Fido. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
