Héctor el Father

Dancehall
DancehallGospelReggaeton

Héctor el Father is a Dancehall and Gospel act. Their catalogue also touches Reggaeton. Their sound grew out of El General, Cosculluela, Divino, Kendo Kaponi and Arcangel & De La Ghetto. Those roots explain a lot about how Héctor el Father arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Alexis y Fido, Tego Calderón, Héctor & Tito, Voltio and Trebol Clan, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Cauty, Julio Voltio, Luny Tunes, Tempo and Don Omar, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 51 connections around Héctor el Father, reaching back through El General and forward to Cauty. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
