Krewella

Dubstep
Dubstep

Krewella is a Dubstep act. Their sound grew out of W&W, Skrillex and Logic. Those roots explain a lot about how Krewella arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Seven Lions, Knife Party, Tristam, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Zomboy, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Kelsea Ballerini, Project 46, Raja Kumari, NERVO and Moti, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 37 connections around Krewella, reaching back through W&W and forward to Kelsea Ballerini. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
