Laidback Luke

Laidback Luke is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Pete Philly, Chocolate Puma, Pete Philly & Perquisite, Hardwell and Knife Party. Those roots explain a lot about how Laidback Luke arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Thomas Gold, Fedde le Grand, Steve Angello, Dirty South and Afrojack, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Avicii, Afrojack, Oliver Heldens, Nicky Romero and Deorro, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 38 connections around Laidback Luke, reaching back through Pete Philly and forward to Avicii. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
