Lita Ford is a Heavy metal act. Their sound grew out of Cherie Currie, Ritchie Blackmore, Deep Purple, Ramones and Twisted Sister. Those roots explain a lot about how Lita Ford arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Lee Aaron, Great White, Poison, Y&T and Tesla, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Femme Fatale and New Tattoo, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 29 connections around Lita Ford, reaching back through Cherie Currie and forward to Femme Fatale.
