Lonnie Mack is a Blues and Country act. Their catalogue also touches Gospel. Their sound grew out of Chuck Berry, George Jones, Wilson Pickett, Duane Eddy and Alligator Records. Geils Band, Robert Cray, Charlie Musselwhite and The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Neil Young, Jeff Beck and Stevie Ray Vaughan, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 36 connections around Lonnie Mack, reaching back through Chuck Berry and forward to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble.
