Los Hermanos is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Móveis Coloniais de Acaju, Chico Buarque, Jim Capaldi, George Harrison and Kraftwerk. Those roots explain a lot about how Los Hermanos arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Rodrigo Amarante, O Terno, Vanguart, Moptop and Rubel, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Moptop, Mallu Magalhães and Little Joy, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 32 connections around Los Hermanos, reaching back through Móveis Coloniais de Acaju and forward to Moptop. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
