Mad Clown is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Jooyoung and 2Pac. Those roots explain a lot about how Mad Clown arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as K.Will, Zico, BE'O, Epik High and San E, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into MONSTA X, X1, SOYOU and HYOLYN, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 28 connections around Mad Clown, reaching back through Jooyoung and forward to MONSTA X. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
