Miles Kane is a Indie rock act. Their sound grew out of Kasabian, Gaz Coombes, Courteeners, Lee Hazlewood and Dan Auerbach. Those roots explain a lot about how Miles Kane arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Arctic Monkeys, Mini Mansions, Kasabian, The Vaccines and The Courteeners, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into The Courteeners, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 42 connections around Miles Kane, reaching back through Kasabian and forward to The Courteeners.
