Ninjaman is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Mad Cobra, Admiral Tibet, Tinga Stewart, Bunny Wailer and Snow. They run in the same orbit as Bounty Killer, Spragga Benz, General Degree, Super Cat and Elephant Man, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Beenie Man, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 40 connections around Ninjaman, reaching back through Mad Cobra and forward to Beenie Man.
