Oxmo Puccino is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Diam's and Booba. Those roots explain a lot about how Oxmo Puccino arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as IAM, Fonky Family, Shurik'n, Lunatic and Kery James, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Styles P, Orelsan, Ibrahim Maalouf, Alizée and Matthieu Chedid, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 23 connections around Oxmo Puccino, reaching back through Diam's and forward to Styles P.
