They run in the same orbit as Sheek Louch, Jadakiss, Lloyd Banks, The Lox and 38 Spesh, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Jadakiss, Curren$y, Dave East, Joell Ortiz and Akon, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 53 connections around Styles P, reaching back through Pharoahe Monch and forward to Jadakiss.
