Rock Mafia is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Miley Cyrus and Bahari. Those roots explain a lot about how Rock Mafia arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Youngblood Hawke, Kwabs, Smallpools, American Authors and The Enemy, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Aura Dione, Hoku, Flo Rida, Ellie Goulding and Tokio Hotel, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 47 connections around Rock Mafia, reaching back through Miley Cyrus and forward to Aura Dione. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
