Sever

Sever is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Tim Armstrong, The Aggrolites and Jun Senoue. Those roots explain a lot about how Sever arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Kingdom Collapse, The Word Alive, Solence, Drop Dead, Gorgeous and Ded, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Britney Spears, Hollywood Undead and Ashes, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 18 connections around Sever, reaching back through Tim Armstrong and forward to Britney Spears. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
