YBN Nahmir is a Trap act. Their sound grew out of Yung Bans, Blueface, Tay-K, E-40 and Eazy-E. Those roots explain a lot about how YBN Nahmir arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Famous Dex, Shoreline Mafia, Smokepurpp, Lil Pump and Bobby Shmurda, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Stefflon Don, mgk, Lil Skies, 21 Savage and Bhad Bhabie, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 26 connections around YBN Nahmir, reaching back through Yung Bans and forward to Stefflon Don.
