The Pack is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of The Cataracs. Those roots explain a lot about how The Pack arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Mac Dre, E-40, Gorilla Zoe, Yung Joc and Too $hort, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Mistah F.A.B. and Lil B, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 26 connections around The Pack, reaching back through The Cataracs and forward to Mistah F.A.B..
