Tokischa is a Dancehall and Reggaeton act. Their sound grew out of Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53, Sevdaliza, Bad Gyal and Young Miko. Those roots explain a lot about how Tokischa arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Bad Gyal, El Alfa, Metrika, Karol G and Isabella Lovestory, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Yailin la Mas Viral, Anuel AA, La Perversa, Quimico Ultra Mega and Motomami, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 32 connections around Tokischa, reaching back through Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53 and forward to Yailin la Mas Viral.
