VANT

VANT is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of The Big Moon. Those roots explain a lot about how VANT arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as The Pale White, The Messenger Birds, Himalayas, George Barnett and Sundara Karma, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Royal Blood, The Big Moon, Biffy Clyro and Catfish and the Bottlemen, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 24 connections around VANT, reaching back through The Big Moon and forward to Royal Blood. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
