Yung Bans is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Young Nudy, Lil Wayne, Chief Keef and Tyler, The Creator. Those roots explain a lot about how Yung Bans arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as UnoTheActivist, Lil Keed, Duwap Kaine, SahBabii and Smokepurpp, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Ski Mask the Slump God, XXXTentacion, Smokepurpp, YBN Nahmir and Jasiah, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 24 connections around Yung Bans, reaching back through Young Nudy and forward to Ski Mask the Slump God. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
