José María Sanz Beltrán, Loquillo or Loco is a Spanish rock singer. He was born in Barcelona. Beginning in the 1980s, he performed as Teddy Loquillo, and then with the groups Loquillo y los Intocables, and later Loquillo y Los Trogloditas. He started out as a rockabilly artist, and then became more famous mixing pop, punk and rock. He played as a solo act as well as performing with the Trogloditas, but they broke up in 2008. Nowadays, he's a widely recognised solo artist in Spain. He also writes blogs on elmundo.es.

La Unión was a Spanish new wave band formed in 1982 by lead vocalist Rafa Sánchez, guitarist Mario Martínez, bassist Luis Bolín, and keyboardist Íñigo Zabala. They are best known for their 1984 hit "Lobo Hombre en París". The band officially dissolved in May 2020. This was announced by lead singer Rafa Sanchez, although the band officially stopped live performances in 2015. The band's dissolution was solidified by the death of co-founder Mario Martinez.

The band consists of lead vocalist and bassist David Summers, lead guitarist Rafael Gutierrez, rhythm guitarist and pianist Dani Mezquita, and drummer Javi Molina.

Estopa is a Spanish rock/rumba duo from Cornellà de Llobregat, Spain. Their songs "El Run Run" and "Cuando Amanece" reached number one on Billboard's chart in Spain, and "Con La Mano Levanta" reached number four. The band consists of brothers José and David Muñoz; their style includes rock, rumba, and flamenco genres. The band has stated, "We don't like to be easily categorized."

Café Quijano is a Spanish pop rock band formed by three brothers, Manuel, Óscar, and Raúl Quijano, all of whom are singers. The brothers are originally from León, along with their father, who ran a musical pub called "La Lola" in the city centre, which gave name to one of their most well-known songs. Apart from publishing four successful albums, they presented galas, collaborated with Disney for soundtracks, and worked on a project with Castilla y León's image to promote tourism to the region.

Extremoduro was a Spanish hard rock band from Plasencia, Extremadura. The band was led by Roberto Iniesta, also known as "Robe", who is often referred as "El rey de Extremadura". The name Extremoduro is a pun on the band's home region in western Spain, Extremadura, and may be translated as "extremely tough", "rough edge", or "hard extreme".

Amaral is a Spanish rock duo from Zaragoza, who have sold more than four million albums worldwide. The band consists of Eva Amaral (vocals) and Juan Aguirre (guitar), who write their songs together. The two met in 1992 in a bar in Zaragoza. Amaral played drums in a local punk rock band called Bandera Blanca and also sang with Acid Rain. Aguirre was playing with a band called Días de Vino y Rosas at the time. Soon after they met, the two decided to play together and perform their own material. In 1997, they moved to Madrid and signed a major deal with EMI. Amaral's musical style is categorized as pop rock, but it is often fused with Latin beats, folk rock, synthesizers, poetic lyrics, and in particular, traditional Spanish folk music.

Pereza was a Spanish rock group from Alameda de Osuna (Madrid) comprising Rubén Pozo Prats and José Miguel Conejo Torres, artistically known as Rubén and Leiva. They have recorded six albums Pereza, Algo para cantar, Animales (Animals), Los amigos de los animales, Aproximaciones (Approximations) released in the summer of 2007, Aviones (Aeroplanes), released in August 2009, and a last compilation that includes two previously unreleased discs: “Mama Quiero Ser una Estrella del Rock'n’Roll” and “Baires”, recorded and mixed in Argentina. The group has also released two DVDs. The first was called Algo para encantar and it contains videos from their previous album Algo para cantar and some live tracks. The second DVD is called Barcelona, which is a recording of a live concert in that city along with a CD called Rarezas (Rarities), which contains previously unreleased tracks from the band's early days.

Barricada were a Spanish hard rock band created in 1982 in the Txantrea neighbourhood of Pamplona/Iruñea.

Enrique Ortiz de Landázuri Izarduy, best known as Enrique Bunbury, is a Spanish singer and songwriter. He has been described as "by far the most international star of Spanish rock" and by Billboard as "one of the greatest figures in the Spanish-speaking world." He was propelled to fame as lead singer of Héroes del Silencio. After the band disbanded in 1996, Bunbury gradually developed a solo career. His "tessitura" singing style would be in the baritone range. The Latin Recording Academy would describe Bunbury as "not only one of the most visionary rock stars ever to emerge from Spain, but also a 21st century master when it comes to crafting transcendent songs in the Spanish language."
