The Lumineers are an American indie folk band formed in Ramsey, New Jersey, in 2005, and now based in Denver, Colorado. The founding members are Wesley Schultz and Jeremiah Fraites ; cellist and vocalist Neyla Pekarek joined the band in 2010, and was a member until 2018. The Lumineers emerged as one of the most popular folk-rock/Americana artists during the revival of these genres, their popularity growing in the 2010s. They are known for their energetic live shows and several international hit singles, including "Ho Hey", "Stubborn Love", "Ophelia", "Angela" and "Cleopatra". The band has become one of the top touring bands in the United States and is also popular in other countries.

Dr. Dog is an American rock band based in Philadelphia. Its lineup consists of Toby Leaman (bass), Scott McMicken, Frank McElroy, Zach Miller (keyboard), Eric Slick (drums), and Michael Libramento. Lead vocal duties are shared between Leaman and McMicken, and all members contribute harmonies. In addition, each band member has a nickname beginning with the letter T and they have explained that friends of the band also receive nicknames, which are drawn from aspects of their lives and personalities.

Bon Iver is an American indie folk band founded in 2006 by singer-songwriter Justin Vernon in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Vernon had originally formed Bon Iver as a solo project, but it eventually became a band consisting of Vernon, Sean Carey, Michael Lewis, Matthew McCaughan, Andrew Fitzpatrick, and Jenn Wasner.

Gregory Alan Isakov is a South African musician currently based in Boulder, Colorado. Isakov and his family immigrated to the United States in 1986 and he was raised in Philadelphia.
