Australian Crawl

Australian Crawl is an act on the Starverb influence map. Their sound grew out of Little River Band, John Lennon, AC/DC, Guns N' Roses and Mondo Rock. Those roots explain a lot about how Australian Crawl arrange songs and choose their tones. They run in the same orbit as Cold Chisel, Noiseworks, Hunters & Collectors, The Angels and Goanna, sharing audiences, venues and reference points rather than a straight line of influence. Their influence carried into Cold Chisel, The Seekers and Midnight Oil, where the same ideas turn up rearranged for a later generation. Altogether the chart holds 28 connections around Australian Crawl, reaching back through Little River Band and forward to Cold Chisel. Follow any of those threads to keep travelling the influence between bands and genres on Starverb.
